Ananda Bhaskar, known for hard work to wait for his turn!

Assurances have gone awry.

Clearing at Central Election Committee did not yield the party candidature to the fresh, young, sensational face like Ananda Bhaskar Rapolu in 1994 Assembly Elections due to local machinations in state capital.

Straight forward Ananda Bhaskar with out hesitating even for while for denial, took up his responsibility and with all, his mite, campaigned for Congress.

The discipline endeared him to his already built attachment with the local leadership, rank and file.

His mailing list in his Chennuru Assembly segment was above 3000, who regularly received post on various occasions, besides his support and follow up. One model letter of 1997 is here under:

With the beginning of 1995, as Congress awfully lost and restructuring the organization was necessity, in which Ananda Bhaskar got a very critical role.

First, he conducted model cadre orientation and training camps in the 7 segments of Peddapalli Loksabha Consituency on the invitation of veteran Shri G. Venkat Swamy. With the success message got circulated to Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee, the then APCC President Shri Konijeti Rosaiah invited and assigned Ananda Bhaskar to look after the cadre orientation through out the state.

The four day State level Training Programme at Gnadipet, in which Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Dr Manmohan Singh, Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad, Shri Mani shankar Aiyar and several others gave their thought provoking inputs was completely designed and handled by Ananda Bhaskar.

After making the possible best efforts, since conditioned to take life as it comes, Ananda Bhaskar with out getting disheartened at the 1994 denial, his whole time pursuit for the bright prospects to Congress is continuing with vigour in various capacities through all the challenging times.

Ananda Bhaskar with his effort of cadre orientation between 1995 and 2001 for Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee, made his mark through out the length and breadth of the state and his modules for Workers Training, printed in lakhs, with emphasis on individual’s personality development and enhancing the self awareness which will automatically equip rank and file earned him, permanent place in the party and in its future. After INC Pachmarhi conclave, redesigned the modules and continued the training programmes. Such camps at local level were plenty.

His cadre orientation effort till 2001 continued besides several other activities for the party and pioneering events for the people of the land on various fronts.

His concentration was on to the complications of river water share, drinking water problem, and agrarian crisis turning into spate of farmers’ suicides and movement for separation of Telangana from ill-conceived united state.

During these times, though considered for Assembly and Warangal LS seat, last minute machinations were went against him. Since being in politics, he continued his aspiartion to contest from his native in 1994 and 1999, which did not materialise due to last minute mischief. After 1999, keeping his crucial role in the party well being and he himself receiving applications for such party tickets since 2003, Ananda Bhaskar Rapolu stopped applying for any candidature in any contests, there after.

On November 15, 1993, Rajaram along with his wife Somanarasamma started from Kodakandla of Warangal district to Mothkur of Nalgonda district to console his elders who were having some family dispute. After reaching there, talking to those elders and having lunch, they took rest. But, on this day, he has forgotten to carry his medicines with him.
