ANANDA BHASKAR's AUGUST SAMXOBHAM: HOT CAKE IN 1984





After his stint at Nalgonda, Hyderabad, very briefly also in his native Warangal and Karimnagar, during the beginning of August Turmoil in 1984, Ananda Bhaskar came out of Eenadu to publish his first book August Samxobham and to subsequently join Andhra Prabha.

August Samxobham became ready reckoner and handy reference to the students of Political Science and contemporary History of the state Politics. The style of narrative got appreciations from several including famous writer Gunturu Sheshendra Sharma. Cover page of August Samxobham and copy of letter of him were on the top. August Samxobham was published in October 1984, within fifteen days of the re-instatement of N T Rama Rao as Chief Minister.

Potturi Venkateswara Rao was editor of Andhra Prabha, when Ananda Bhaskar joined it.

Ananda Bhaskar served in the General Desk of Andhra Prabha in Hyderabad.
