ANANDA BHASKAR: ASSIMILATOR & DISSEMINATOR OF KNOWLEDGE

Ananda Bhaskar's attachment with Shri G. Krishna, Veteran Journalist
was beyond journalistic profession.

Shri G. Krishna, simple, humane, Journalist of highest order,
served in Hyderabad, Madras, Chittoor, New Delhi and
led his retired life in Hyderbad till he breath his last.

Shri G. Krishna's spiritual practice was just close to his family and associates.

Shri G. Krishna initiated Ananda Bhaskar into
Maharshi Ramana [December 30, 1879 - April 14, 1950] way of life.
Shri Krishna, direct disciple of Kavyakanta Ganapathi Muni
[November 17, 1878 - July 25, 1936],
guided Ananda Bhaskar in his spiritual search as well.

Kavyakanta Vashista Ganapathi Muni gave name
as Bhagavan Ramana to Arunachala sthitha Maharshi,
till then known as Mouna Swamy and Brahmana Swamy,
whose name was Venkataraman.

In turn Bhagavan Ramana called Ganapathi Muni as Naayana.

From then, Ganapathi Muni became popular as Naayana.

Shri Dr G. Krishna wrote biography of Ganapathi Muni in 1978 entitled NAAYANA.

The attachment of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi and
Ganapathi Muni was so deep and
model for spiritual attainment and humility in spiritual world.

Kavyakanta Ganapathi Muni, who attained the highest level in Sadhana,
was also participant in Freedom struggle and
took part in session of Indian National Congress.

With the guidance of Shri G. Krishna, Ananda Bhaskar devoutly follows
the life and preachings of
Maharshi Ramana and Kavyakanta Ganapathi Muni.




Ananda Bhaskar Rapolu with the family history of Sadhu Parampara,
since his grand father SADHU PULLAIAH MAHARAJ dedicated his life
in Datta Sampradaya and
his father RAJARAM was principled practioner of Vedic way of life,
is learnt to devote with dedication for the work and its challenges and
to take life as it comes.

ANANDA BHASKAR RAPOLU learnt Journalism very hard way and
taught and continues to teach the same way.

Assimilation of hard facts and dissemination in lucid way,
the latest understandings and innovations of the globe, society, economy and
polity are the passion of Ananda Bhaskar.

Ananda Bhaskar used to write about one hundred letters - individual to
newly joined and budding journalists on the flaw in their reports and
the need of improvement and adition of factual data.

This hard earned respect still commands affinity from
the Journalistic community state wide and even country wide,
where ever, his students got elevated to.

Then, the age group, gender, social
and earning / occupational factors have to be taken.

will serve the purpose.

ANANDA BHASKAR: EXPERIMENTS IN MOFUSSIL JOURNALISM: UDAYAM

ANANDA BHASKAR RAPOLU, from Andhra Prabha Telugu daily joined UDAYAM Telugu daily on invitation of management to an elevated position as Coordinator for Rural Reporting Network TELENEWS and in-charge of Research and Development Wing.

Ananda Bhaskar was instrumental in meticulous selection and training process of the mofussil journalists and developed manuals for their talent upgradation and to improve quality of the daily. His scientific correlation of reporting network with circulation department of the daily, brought in scope for sustaining print order. He played concrete role in taking the feedback from the readers in serving their news and feature needs, which paved way for designing several specialised pages and columns.

Ananda Bhaskar pioneered several far reaching changes including separate Mofussil editions.



In UDAYAM, his association was with K.Rama Krishna Prasad, Managing Director, K. Rama Chandra Murthy, then Resident Editor of Vijayawada, Pasham Yadagiri and Chennuri Naga Raju in Hyderabad and subsequently with Gajjela Malla Reddy, Chief Editor who joined after taking over of UDAYAM by Magunta Subba Rami Reddy.
Ananda Bhaskar as head of Reporting team of UDAYAM for AICC Tirupathi Plenum heralded several model reporting including minute by minute coverage and daily chronology besides several politically sensitive and human interest aspects.

Besides writing in-depth analysis on international and national developments, his contributions attracted specialised readers.

Ananda Bhaskar took part in several training camps through out the state.

Ananda Bhaskar came out of UDAYAM in March 1988 and re-joined UDAYAM after change of management on the invitation of Gajjela Malla Reddy. After change of ownership, had opportunity to work with Nanduri Ramamohana Rao, K. Subbarayudu, J. Umamaheswara Rao (Sahavaasi), Narla Rajendra Prasad and other versatile hands.

In between, Ananda Bhaskar was founder editor of VAARTHAAKAALAM, Telugu Fortnightly, which attained the level of India Today Telugu edition.

ANANDA BHASKAR RAPOLU: BIOGRAPHER OF INDIRA GANDHI: 1984









With his life time memory of Indira Gandhi in 1976 September, Ananda Bhaskar Rapolu was keen in understanding and preserving the records of her life.


The news of brutal assassination of Indira Gandhi on October 31, 1984 at her official residence, where Ananda Bhaskar had opportunity of photograph with her in 1976, immediately made him sick and had to go home from Andhra Prabha to take medical aid and to recuperate from the truama folliwing Indira ji's demise.

For three days while at home in Gemini Colony, Ramnagar, Hyderabad, Ananda Bhaskar Rapolu following the tragic end of Indira ji and her final rites, decided to write down her biography in Telugu.

Thus, Ananda Bhaskar became first Biographer in Telugu of Indira Gandhi, immediately after her assassination. The book Indira Gandhi published in December 1984, which was released by Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma, the then Governor of AP who later became President of India.

The book Indira Gandhi was released on December 19, 1984 at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad in the presence of Rapolu Saroja, wife of Ananda Bhaskar, A. Rama Mohan Rao, Journalist then in Eenadu and now in India Today. Visuals of the cover page of the book Indira Gandhi, few reviews in English on it, the letter from Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust by H Y Sharada Prasad and letter of Gunturu Sheshendra Sharma were on the top.
