TO TAKE FORWARD SOCIAL DEDICATION OF RAJARAM, ANANDA BHASKAR DECIDES TO PLUNGE INTO PUBLIC LIFE

RAPOLU RAJARAM, self made, self learnt, self disciplined proven entrepreneur and social activist in his early 70s, father of Ananda Bhaskar was keeping good health except known record of High BP monitored and controlled with medication.

On November 15, 1993, Rajaram along with his wife Somanarasamma started from Kodakandla of Warangal district to Mothkur of Nalgonda district to console his elders who were having some family dispute. After reaching there, talking to those elders and having lunch, they took rest. But, on this day, he has forgotten to carry his medicines with him. By evening, he got severe illness that led to cerebral hemorrhage  and collapsed by 7.30 PM.

Following this grave tragedy in the family, Ananda Bhaskar and his youngest brother Srinivas and sister Vanaja who were in Hyderabad, rushed to Kodakandla. By the time they reached there, the body of Rajaram brought there and his immediate younger brother Purushotham was overseeing the arrangements. All the family members reached and Ananda Bhaskar performed the final rites to his father next day at Kodakandla. Top visual showing the final journey of Rajaram and visual below it is of family and friends of Rajaram.

From then on, for complete one month, Ananda Bhaskar did not move out of the place, devoutly performing the rites for his father Rajaram. With the mortal remains, a samadhi was built besides the samadhis of Sadhu Pullaiah Maharaj and Venkataraamma.

From this vacuum and after understanding the gap prevailing in his native place of WARANGAL district, where his father was having stature of community and social leadership besides known affinity with Gandhian way of life and yester years Congress dedication, Ananda Bhaskar decided to enter into public life quitting his journalistic profession. Theirs was of middle class income group belonging to Padmashali - Weaver caste of OBC, whose strength is much larger in his native besides all across the district and surrounding districts.

Rajaram refused to even apply for pension eligible for the freedom fighters stating that that was the call of Mother India, for which, their role of that of sons and daughters for which, they need no compensation.

Rajaram, a strict Vedic practitioner followed this, throughout his life in all his roles.
